Old Cars Reader Wheels: 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS

Lawrence Weiner was like quite a few of us who often regretted letting the “one” get away. Lawrence decided to do something about it and built absolutely sure the next time all-around would be the allure with his extraordinary fountain of youth ’67 Camaro.

This is what Lawrence had to say about his spectacular Bowtie…

“In the spring 1969, I procured a minimal mile, bone stock 1967 Camaro SS350 from the authentic proprietor who had been drafted. As quickly as I had a minimal further income, I started introducing aftermarket parts and components. These included a established of Cragar S/S mags, Nickey traction bars, Hurst Gabriel Dual Responsibility shocks, a ‘67 Corvette 427 stinger design hood, and a host of Cal Custom made gown up merchandise, like valve covers and a fly eye air cleaner. I also set up efficiency pieces like an Edelbrock C3B aluminum significant rise ingestion manifold, a Holley 3310 dual inlet 780 cfm carb, a set of Doug’s Headers, an L79 327 / 350 horsepower camshaft and additional. With these mods, the Camaro was a solid performer, and I received my share of street races with it.”
